Learn how to create beautiful 3D polymer clay flower millefiori canes!
Millefiori flower canning is among the most widely used techniques in polymer clay craft.
Their charm, vibrant colours as well as pleasing styles, have that “wow” factor.

There are actually infinite flower kinds as well as endless methods to create flowers; Polymer clay is the best medium for creating millefiori canes flower designs.

In this tutorial we will create imaginary, fantasy petal designs, which are easy to understand and to complete. The tutorial is only a bit in an ocean of possibilities; Play with shapes, colours, designs, styles and create your own collection of flower canes in all colours.

The X-Linked millefiori flower cane is a sophisticated cane design featuring a unique curved / twisted parts inside the design.
This cane will be created using 2 gradient skinner blends to give a 3 dimensional look. We will end up with a “petal” that hides 2 flowers inside it – top and bottom.
When assembling all parts you will be able to see the beautiful petals hidden inside the complete design – flowery version of a Celtic knot cane.

* Previous knowledge of how to create skinner blend is required.
The class will start with a ready made plug.

This flower cane can be a part of a larger design, inside another cane or on beads, flat surfaces etc.
